If you want to learn jiujitsu and train to better yourself and the people around you, I want to train with you and look forward to learning what you have to teach me in return.
I don’t care if you’re rich, poor, strong, weak, young, old, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Atheist, black, brown, white, yellow, pink, gay, bisexual, transgender, male, female, democrat, republican, hippie, socialist, athletic, clumsy, an immigrant, a minority or majority group not listed here.
The nature of our dojo is that we train to get stronger together. We share the mat to collaborate and challenge one another to be better…to understand that we are different but that our differences are needed to make us stronger. Any judgements that keep us from doing so aren’t appropriate.
