In the Spring of 2019, I had the opportunity to work as a “client” to a group of Computer Science majors at CSU Sacramento. Within the timeline of a 16 week semester, I was delivered Genki VN. This is a fun virtual novel approach to read and practice the dialogue featured in the Genki textbook we use for the Japanese language program at CSU Sacramento.
Genki VN stands for Genki Visual Novel.
Genki Visual Novel is a react powered online visual novel for Japanese language learners. Genki VN follows the dialogues found in the Genki I and II language books and provides an immersive environment to learn Japanese.
A place where you, the player, can see the story unfold through the chapters of Genki I or II in the form of dialogues between Genki characters.
Genki VN is not only a great way to immerse yourself with the story in Genki textbooks but also a fun way to learn Japanese.
