Peak Performance: the rainy day test

If you want to get ahead of others (the majority) then don’t allow rainy days to influence your schedule. Do what you would normally have done on a non rainy day and you win!

Provided there are no natural disasters, rainy days are just that, rainy. However many people get turned off to the idea of carrying out their regular schedule in the rain.

Today I taught an 8am language class that was half full. Went to a yoga class that was 1/3 full and a jiujitsu class that was 1/4 full. People just don’t like it so they shut down.

The rain is a nuisance but it’s nothing that should impede you from going about your daily routine. You’ll get wet but you’ll also dry off.

Needless to say if you just allow the rain to dry off, you will get ahead. Others will skip a class or a lesson when rain or other trivial things happen. That isn’t good.

How you carry out your day when it’s raining is a good little test to see where you are mentally. It’s a good exercise not to let the small stuff bother you. So what you’re a little wet? If you’re feeling a little crazy…. Go jump in a puddle and embrace it. Who knows what might happen!
