Thinking about the details of the conversation, re-thinking your rebuttal, going over the conversation again and again with a precise counter strike, that’s exactly how you should approach reflecting on a practice roll or tournament roll. Thinking about what you should have done is just as important as thinking about how you got stumped. Consider the details of the match or roll like you would the words you and the other person said. Come up with how you’re going to answer those statements and it should be a different conversation the next time around.
